No, but they don't have a militant army of petty bourgeoisie pointing to the 2nd Amendment of their own Constitutions or similar documents, and have been able and willing to ban or heavily regulate ownership of firearms.
I don't agree with the United States' gun freedoms, but I also don't have the power to change them myself.
Gun locks are about keeping kids from killing or dying when they find guns.
You can prevent horrible things from happening without solving America's gun violence epidemic.
