Harris distances herself from Biden's 'garbage' comment: 'I strongly disagree' with criticizing people based on their vote
Kamala Harris continues to distance herself from Biden's "garbage" comment, telling ABC News she disagrees "with any criticism of the people based on who they vote for."
But they are garbage. There’s no high road to take here. It’s just a road. And it’s littered with garbage Trump supporters.
Hey, you can vote for me or the guy I've called fascist. Either is perfectly fine. Just because you might be in favor of our government embracing sexist, racist, fascism that kills women and persecutes the people I stand for doesn't mean I'm going to judge you in any way. Because voting isn't in any way an expression of ethical belief and has no impact on the real world. But calling someone names for their beliefs and actions, now that would be downright disrespectful.
And just like that, the vice president can differ from the president.
