Another one: transforthe.win – local timeline there requires auth, so can't check whether it also has legitimate traffic...
@[email protected] @[email protected] Entire instances can be blocked using the command line, but they're using many (abandoned? loosely moderated?) instances.
We can also set the "drop posts from accounts created less than X seconds ago". We could set a 86400 seconds - but we could lose new users, posting their introductions.For now, I've blocked those instances you pointed out
Thanks, those were all I've seen at least today. Let's see how this turns out. If there's a whole lot of these "abandoned" instances nobody cares about, we might indeed run into a quite similar problem the email system has as well. I'll suggest integrating
rspamdinto snac 😏(edit: fully agree basing the decision on the age of the account has an unacceptable false-positive rate ...)
