Why is Israel attacking Lebanon?

Israel has tried to justify its widescale attacks against Lebanese towns that displaced thousands of people.

How is this not acts of war or terrorism. They are attacking another countries citizens.
Israel and the USA (their prime enabler) do not recognize international law. The only law they DO recognize is the law of the jungle: "might makes right". Until the rest of the world enacts sanctions against BOTH of them, Israel and the USA will continue their terrorism and genocide.
