Fun (related) fact: Atlanta's oldest surviving skyscraper, The "Flatiron Building (Atlanta)" was built in 1897. Five years before it's counterpart, The "Flatiron Building" which is the oldest surviving skyscraper in New York City. Both were the second skyscraper built in their respective cities.
