Five secretaries of state plan to send Elon Musk an open letter Monday urging him to “immediately implement changes to X’s AI search assistant, Grok” to stop the spread of false election information to voters.

    Given that the ability to improve accuracy of generated information would be pretty valuable in terms of the bot's value to users, I'm pretty sure that no company that runs one and can actually figure out a significantly-better heuristic is going to not use it.

    I also doubt that anyone is going to "solve" LLMs before the election is over, much less prior to the remaining three months.

    You might get a disclaimer about LLM accuracy next to it.

    Personally, I think that anything that has a really high level of textual accuracy isn't going to just be tweaking an LLM, but something with some pretty substantial structural changes. It might make use of an LLM internally, but I don't think that the end game here is going to look a lot like existing chatbots, nifty though they may be.
