So let me get this straight... If I treat chronic pain with cannabis I'm not trusted with a firearm, but if I'm a drunk or have a history of beating my wife thats fine so long as I don't handle the firearm while intoxicated.

I wonder what that means for cops WRT guns and domestic violence.
I'd love to see statistics about gun violence where simple marijuana use was involved. Mitigating factors like black market dealing, gang violence, alcohol was also used, ECT.
I did look up a study on harm from others where alcohol and or marijuana was involved shockingly /s alcohol was involved in higher rates for all types of harm(violence harassment financial) vs cannabis. I really wish they had included harms with no intoxication involved.
