Three Point Shot: J.J. Redick Could Succeed Van Gundy At ESPN
J.J. Redick has had a meteoric rise at ESPN. Now he could potentially succeed Jeff Van Gundy on the No. 1 NBA game team.
I thought Mark Jackson was significantly worse than JVG but either way, JJ would be a huge upgrade.
It would legitimately be difficult to get worse than the color team ESPN had. An out of touch former coach that hates the current version of the game he's commentating, and a monotone former player with the personality of a wet sock that appears to have a side gig fellating any and all forms of officiating. And for some reason they had them on at the SAME TIME.
This would be a massive upgrade.
I've never understood the appeal of three man commentary. I can't think of many times it was better than most two man set ups.
