Pra quem não tiver tempo de ler: basicamente um redditor levanta a bola de que o privacyguides fala pra usar o f-droid, porém com cautela, já que eles não tem muito controle de qualidade, entre outras coisas.
Mas aí um outro usuário responde que o privacyguides nunca foi amigo de FOSS, então não é de se surpreender que eles defendam isso.
Novamente, não sou autoridade, mas gosto de ficar de olho em tudo que é software que eu uso pra ver se eles continuam no caminho certo. Exemplo, o Brave (que se vendiam como "preocupados com privacidade"), que eu confiei e já mudei.

Esse último, pra mim, tem um detalhe que o tradutor no móvel, não rola.

Ow god, pior que eu acho muito boa a sincronização dele e estou usando por uns 2 anos como meu navegador principal e vai ser uma puta mão na roda mudar isso agora, sempre amei o firefox, mas ele foi se tornando um tijolo difícil de usar com o tempo, enfim, lá vou eu que nem o CJ: ah shit, here we go again
