  • Knitters are pretty chill, I'd be up for helping out. Been an active participant for a few weeks now, mostly online in UK mornings & evenings. I'll drop an email as requested.

    • Knitters are pretty chill - until you cross them, haha. Then people start faking their own deaths to escape their wrath.

      Not that I think we’ll see that here, this just made me laugh. I think the first big scandal I watched unfold in real-time was the Mystical Creations Yarn blowup on Ravelry in 2008(ish).

      • I thought about that literally as I was typing it lol. And cross stitch is somehow even more dramatic on occasion! Crafters, who would've thought?

        But you know, relative to a politics community or whatever... 😅
