[MHW] What's the best way to farm monster parts?

Investigations, generally, although there isn't a huge difference tbf. The extra investigation freebies can be nice though. Events are more for unlocking cosmetics and stuff for your collection and competing in time trials and stuff.

Though once you unlock Guiding Lands that becomes really nice too, because you're cutting out a lot of load time between your hunts.
