I'm not sure I see any benefit for either one.

I am not surprised that news organizations, businesses that get paid for how many viewers get engaged, want to have another political showdown. Trump doesn’t debate, he just spews his own word vomit and refuses to answer questions. Any debate with Trump is a win for him, because his ego must be masochistic or something.
