Fledgling Great Horned Owlets

Taken at Felts Audubon Preserve in Palmetto FL. I'm slowly rebuilding my profile of birds from Reddit.

That nest is almost as fuzzy as they are.

I think my fav stage of baby owl is when the facial feathers have grown in but nothing else.
- Yes, but I find their uncovered legs disturbing. It's like full body shots of Kermit, something ain't right.
