There were a whole lot of people freaking out about being called "cis" for a minute.
That was about 50/50 innocent usage ans actively a slur though.

It's insane, they think if they don't like the label it automatically becomes a slur. The comment I responded to was even claiming calling someone dumb is a slur. Its mind boggling how people who have no idea what they are talking about think it's a good idea to try and correct/lecture others.

It's never been a slur, it's literally a scientific term. It would be like getting pissed someone called you a sapian, or a mammal. It's just snowflakes being mad they aren't considered the default, or "normal"
Just like it's not a slur to say retard, dumb, negro, mongoloid, etc.
First of all, if you think dumb is a slur than you deserve to be called dumb. You also deserve to be called dumb for comparing cis to these lol.

My God, you are just being deliberately obtuse at this point. No one calling someone dumb is using it in that way and you know it. I'm not going to continue a discussion with someone arguing in bad faith.
