mtwwtm: Mine did not like to reimage off the USB. It wouldn't work at all. I had to take my old external WD drive from the Xbox and then it worked fine from that.
1 0 ReplyKroganHULK: This happened to me using a USB stick. Once I used a fast micro SD it was up and running in minutes.
1 0 Replyquidamphx: Slow loading is due to the USB stick. Can you try a different one that's rated for better speeds? I've had issues with some drives that were resolved by using a better one
1 0 Reply5C0L0P3NDR4: i've actually since this post got all the way through the process by running the image on an sd card

inertSpark: Try a different flash drive. Some slow drives won't work well at all.
I did manage to use a USB 2.0 flash drive once even though Valve say USB 3.0. I was stuck on that screen for over 20 minutes but surprisingly it did work eventually.
Tried again recently with a much faster USB drive and it took like 5 minutes to completely reimage.
1 0 Replybossbang: Lmao just wait. Do not mess with it. By now you probably either figured that out or interrupted it, hopefully you left it alone…
1 0 ReplyRueGorE: It's still loading. You need to wait longer, especially since it looks like you're booting off a USB thumb drive.
Just don't do anything until you see the desktop load. And even then, things might be slow to load such as the application menu, etc.
The only way to make it go faster is to use faster external storage devices.
1 0 Reply5C0L0P3NDR4: it stayed that way for a little over an hour, is that a normal wait time?
1 0 Replycrazyclue: Reimagining from USB takes forever. Definitely could be over an hour in some cases.
There's something wrong with the way the deck boots from USB.
