NEW MEGA-DUNGEON: DAWN OF THE INFINITE
New eight-boss Mythic-only mega-dungeon.
NEW EVOKER SPECIALIZATION: AUGMENTATION
Augmentation is a damage dealer role that uses the essence of the Black and Bronze dragonflights to amplify the abilities of nearby allies.
NEW BONUS EVENT: KALIMDOR CUP
Rediscover Kalimdor's skies with a new dragonriding racing event arriving to Azeroth and running from August 15–28. Challenge 16 races across Kalimdor in Normal, Advanced, and Reverse variations to earn Riders of Azeroth Badges to exchange for rewards from Maztha.
THE WARLOCK CLASS EXPANDS TO NEW RACES
The Warlock class is now available to Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls. You’ll also be able to undertake a new Warlock-specific questline and use the Barbershop to customize your pets.
GRAPHIC UPDATE
Updated the lighting and fog throughout Kalimdor.
- Added 5 new fur colors for Worgen.
- Added 1 new eye color for Mag'har Orc.
- The light source that reflects in non-glowing eyes is no longer static.
- All restrictions for unlocking Allied Races have been removed, with the exception of a level requirement.
- All Allied Races can now be unlocked once you have a level 40 character on your account (was level 50).
- Newly created Allied Race characters will now be directed to Chromie (was the Warboard).
- Characters level 10–60 that have not been logged into for 60 days will now have the option to receive a Welcome Back Gift on the character select screen. The Welcome Back Gift includes:
a. Select a specialization upon log in to become equipped with updated bags and gear that is appropriate to the character’s level and selected specialization. All previously worn items and bags can be collected from the mailbox.
b. Teleport to the character’s home city of Orgrimmar or Stormwind.
c. All quests in the quest log will be cleared to provide a clean slate. To continue your leveling journey, head to Chromie in Orgrimmar Embassy or Stormwind Embassy.
- Characters now learn the appropriate mount riding skill upon reaching the appropriate level without needing to visit a mount trainer.
Level 10 - Apprentice Riding
Level 20 - Journeyman Riding
Level 30 - Expert Riding
Level 40 - Master Riding
- Characters that reach level 30 will receive the quest “Time to Fly” and be awarded with a flying mount: the Harbor Gryphon for Alliance characters and Scarlet Pterrordax for Horde characters.

There are A LOT of classes changes. I would suggest reading the post from Wowhead as it would take me forever to list them all here. The link is at the bottom.
ITEMS AND REWARDS
Players will now be able to trade items and gold directly to characters on other realms in their region. Previously this was limited to things like conjured items or eligible raid/dungeon loot, but all those cross-realm restrictions will now be lifted. Play with your friends and trade whatever you want to whoever you want!

Big patch. Pretty disappointed in the Annulet change because I don't believe their statement that they are correctly compensating for the loss of the damage. As Windwalker I can guarantee it's way more than a 2% aura is going to produce, so WW is going to trail even further behind after this. I mean I get what they're trying to do, but it's going to be painful for a few weeks while we're further ignored.
Oh well, I'm just going to keep on punching.
I really wish they’d bring back a true classic ui option
All in all pretty big patch and the introduction of a new mega dungeon. I would not expect the servers to be back online at the usual maintenance end time. Historically you can expect a 6+ hours maintenance but don't quote me on that.
There are way more changes than usual too, I couldn't make an extensive post even if I wanted to, it would be past the characters limit. Sorry for the weird formatting too, Kbin still needs some tuning I think.
What are some changes you are happy or sad to see happening?
Quite a lot of UI changes - showing specs in the avatar, showing cast progress, resolution updates for icons etc. are nice to see. Not too sure yet on some of the balance changes. All healers received 5x their Maan, will be interesting.
I saw that they supposed enhanced Exile's Reach (the new player starting zone) but they STILL haven't fixed the fact that the Expeditionary Armor sets don't have the boots.
I'm getting around that by leveling Battle for Azeroth Leatherworking / Tailoring / Blacksmithing to make the Honorable Combatants boots (which are the same model) but I really shouldn't have to do it. Tailoring is already done, Leatherworking will be done soon... Blacksmithing looks like it's going to take forever though. Ore isn't cheap, and mining it is reaaallly slow.
