wish some of these alchemy cards could be replicated in paper somehow lol
A lot of them could be under the existing rules, and sometimes I think they just make these digital abilities because they can, or perhaps because they want to keep dividing paper/Arena.
In this case you could just shuffle each deck, exile the top 7 cards face down, and move them to each player to the right. That player "may look at and play those cards, and they may spend mana of any type to cast them" or however they word it. It's clunky but it operates within the current rules.
well I guess they dont want you just taking someone's like trump card or something, also I think they had a design thing about having cards owned by other people not going into other people's hidden zones and graveyards or something, does mean you can do graveyard shenanigans with other people's cards which is cool
Wow what a crazy wheel effect. Not sure why you would play this other than for the craziness but looks fun at least. Arena devs really leaning into the digital experience here which seems cool for Alchemy.
