I like to post some exclusive content to Lemmy just to attract more people over here
tbh i just keep all my hottest takes to myself because to do otherwise would be irresponsible
I think rn I only have my first top-level comment on here, but even on the reddit I mostly just reply to other people's comments now. mostly I just use the discord
I've seen some other people dual-posting between the reddit and discord but not the lemmy so far though

I should continue with my Kingdom Hearts journey. My goal is to eventually get all achievements in all games, which will probably take another year if I start again now. My current progress is:

KH1: beaten on Proud and within 15 hours, nothing else done besides the main story, still need to do a run without changing equipment.

Chain of Memories: gave up on Floor 13 when they introduced enemies that are immune to magic. I firaga'd/blizzaga'd my way through the game so I will probably have to start over and account for that from the beginning.

I haven't been following the Threads stuff too closely so I didn't realize they were planning to federate it. Interesting that one of the big social media companies is trying to get into this and I'm curious what that's going to look like.
Already considering just adding Threads to the blocklist but we'll see how it goes.

Being honest, they're probably only saying it because "fediverse" is the current buzzword. If they do wind up doing fediverse integration (assuming they don't ditch it for the next buzzword); I'd be prepared to bet it'll be a closed garden where Threads instances are only able to federate with other Threads instances.
I'd also advise blocking Threads; if nothing else than for the fact that some instances are talking about defederating any instances that federate with Threads.
honestly please do block it. it’s impossible to moderate properly for individual instances and they’re certainly not going to do it
it’s really not worth the trouble of blocking them later once they’ve been established
it's crazy how some lyrics are burnt into my brain even if I haven't heard a song in years. I just remembered Mr Blue Sky exists after like 7 years, and after some humming I got most of the lyrics right.
I brought one game during the Steam Summer Sale and it was a game that wasn't even on sale.

0.18.2-rc.1 fixes it and is out. idk where you normally get patches from but the github has a tag with the fix
