Estonia (2023)

Explores the reason behind the sinking of the MS Estonia as it was crossing the Baltic Sea and its aftermath, with the help of exclusive interviews and footage.

We're a couple of episode in. Reminds me a bit of Chernobyl. I don't know how best to describe the storytelling or narrative. It follows the investigation into the sinking and we get to see glimpses into the tragedy as it unfolds from the perspectives of the survivors, emergency crews and rescuers, and other folks who played a role in supporting the families and friends of the passengers as the investigation unfolds.
