Nelua: metaprogrammable and extensible system programming language with a Lua flavor

That's really nice, having a full control over garbage collector and being able to compile directly to machine code can be really powerful.
Hopefully the author will soon finish implementing the dynamic parts of Lua and maybe add stuff like ++, +=, etc.

Already installed and playing with it :)
