I get my license this weekend, and after that a job as an electrician. I'm going to have actual responsibility, kinda scary.

Congratulations! That's a solid field to be in. There's so much work that only qualified electrician can do (as someone who bought a 120 year old house with some wiring issues).

How long was the apprenticeship?
- I haven't been to the apprenticeship, I'll be doing that once I get the job and they pay for me to go to the apprenticeship. Then it's 4 or 5 years, 1 or 2 nights per week.
I hope you have a long and fulfilling career, going in with nerves is good, that is how you grow confidence. You got this homie!

Saturday I am DJing for one of the largest Pride event in my state, I am so excited, and get the opportunity to work with 2 very large musical celebrities. My goal is to help them setup their instruments and their stage, but I would be lying if I said that I am not internally screaming and fanboying inside.

Oh that's dope, I've always wondered what backstage at a large concert is like. I assume hectic but amazing?
- It depends on the show. This one is outdoors, most performers will usually get there in the morning to do a sound check, and then leave. Then they will show up an hour before their performance and then leave right away. Indoors, there is usually a place for them to hang out, like a small private lounge, or an upstairs loft. For the most part they are out of the way.
  
  It can get hectic when something breaks. Say your event has like 5 wireless microphones and all of them just pop for some reason. Now you have a short window to find a shop willing to rent. Maybe not the best example lol, but I'll stand by it.

Currently have a 5 month old puppy whose around 47 pounds. I'm worried she's going to turn into Clifford the big red dog (she's reddish brown). Not sure what I would do that point.

You could get a saddle and pay less in gas?
- Now that is thinking outside of the box! I'm just hoping I can still pick her up and carry her around when she's 90 pounds. Gotta start doing some curls.
My friend has a 5 month old puppy at 53 pounds and she's still all floppy, so plenty of room to keep growing. They're going to be massive!

Working on making graduation awards for my kindergarteners today. Highlights include "fantastic friend" and "shining star". Coming up with these names is fun lol

Hahaha. My first thought for an award, NEVER LOST A SOCK! Don't know why but one of my nieces always came home missing a sock a couple of times a month!
- Lol not sure that's true for any of these kids!
Do you have a favorite award to give out?
- This is my first time doing it! So we'll have to see. I'm a social worker not a teacher so awards aren't usually in my wheelhouse.

This is my first day off since joining the fediverse and my first real chance to explore and get to see how this all works. I am digging how this whole system works with federations and all that jazz. I think I may have found a cool community to settle into and it's exciting!
