Man, Benson has it right. What the fuck? How do you do that? How do they let you do that? He essentially hit the slowest HR in history. Wild.
12 0 ReplyYeah there's no doubting his talent in this, but how do you watch a dude steal 2nd, and immediately abandon 3rd?
8 0 ReplyHe wasn't on third in the first place.
He definitely should have gone over there once Elly got there, though.

What an electric player, great for the game and good for Cincinnati.

4 0 ReplyNot a huge baseball fan but this is incredible.
I don't want to take anything away from de la Cruz, but how do the Brewers let this happen?
You watch the guy steal second, then abandon third? Then he basically steals home immediately after. Incredible.
4 0 ReplyThe guy at the plate was a lefty pull hitter. They were playing everybody in the infield pulled over to the batters right to try to prevent a hit.
Don't know if the coaches somehow forget to tell the 3B to okay a little closer to the line, or if he brain farted all on his own. He definitely should have gone over to hold Elly on street he got there, but in his defense, nobody tries to steal home in that kind of situation at the major league level.

2 0 ReplyHe’s so good. The reds swept the nats in dc and it was hard to get too upset bc of Elly
2 0 ReplyThe Reds found someone special. Hope they actually keep their talent and make a run in the play offs.
