White clouds of toxic foam cover Brazilian river (video)

“clouds of foam”?

That’s the Tietê river, the part that runs through São Paulo has always been gross. I used to live there and you could smell the river from some distance away.

I mean that doesn’t make this video any less sad but context is important. This stuff comes and goes. It’s just really nasty water.

It’s a beautiful river too. It’s a real shame.
