I really believe that this push for "universal coverage" is a terrible idea. As we saw when cell service made its way into remote areas and with an increase in uneducated folks going to places they didn't have the skills to be, we will only see this more. We don't need service in the middle of a million acre wilderness. If you have the skill set to go there, then you probably know about other tools for comms.
