When I saw headlines I automatically assumed that this was some Chrome behavior that linked your activity in incognito mode with your real outside-incognito identity.
No. You're right. They're just up in arms because if you log into Google in incognito mode, Google will know who you are in incognito mode.
First, class actions works all the time. I've pulled in something like $1500 between Google and Sony shenanigans.
Second, no you won't, this is the dumbest waste of court time I've read about in a long time. It's going to be a big fat L for the plantifs and they are likely fighting for pennies if they clear the first procedurals.
