For me is the (for now) lack of repost. Those fuckers plagued my home page for years.
Yeah, the absence of a slew of editorialized content, obviously being pushed by larger groups, is kinda nice. Like I think I've interacted with more people on here in the past 24 than I would in a week over there
What would the incentive to repost something be? There is no karma to be earned.
Astroturfing for the purpose of changing public opinion? Although wouldn't really be worth it considering the limited size of lemmy at the moment
I wouldn't even go that deep, I'd just compare it to people that hear someone tell a joke in class silently and then proceed to tell that very same joke, but loudly.
Although it's a completely different thing, I am seeing a lot of repeated comments. But yeah, the lack of reposts so far is nice.
