Dethklok, from Metalocalypse. So good they're really touring
I guess being so good that the band becomes real disqualifies them? I also thought about Flight of the Conchords, but are they really a fictional band?
I'm pretty sure they were a real band first and then got a TV show after being discovered. It's been years so I may have that backwards
