I love solitary bees, and have been actively building habitat for them for over 20 years. I use Bee Binder Boards from Pollinator Paradise, and plant lots of native flowering plants. One time I was watching a Megachelidae bee, who had just come up from it's burrow. I waited to see what happened next. A short while later the bee returned with a rolled up piece of leaf held in it's rear 4 legs, and went into the burrow. And I said, Bingo! it's out gathering 'wall paper'!! :-D In my state there are around 3-400 species of solltary bees. And they are amazing pollinators. And cool to watch, as well.
I don't know what you're on about with the corp comment, so assuming you are not a troll, I should mention that Dr. Strickler of Pollinator Paradise has long since retired. The website is up, but I don't think there is anything available for purchase. However it's a very useful website for learning about solitary bees. Have a nice day!
It was a joke comment based on all the influx of Reddit users. There is a sub Reddit called Hail Corporate that points out posts that could or are fake posts by companies pushing their product. The wording of this post sounds straight up corpo speak. I say this as someone who had a career in IT starting from desktop support up to director of IT. For the record I’m not saying positively that’s what’s going on, just poking fun.
So you've never heard of solitary bees? It's an entire class of bees that don't make hives or honey. All they do is pollinate, so they are much more efficient at it than honey bees. Check the website, using VPN of course, and you'll see that it's legit, and far too low tech to be mistaken for corporate driven. Ooh, but maybe they did that on purpose. Hmm. Maybe get outside, once in a while. You know, touch some grass, look at some wild flowers, stuff like that. I've spent so little time in the corporate world, I'm not sure where I picked up a writing style that would have gotten that response. Doubtless, some insidious corporate mind virus. Infecting your mind that is. ;-)
