title self-explanatory. Sync is great and all, but i often make comments and then a few days later i remember i made them and i see i got replies

If Lemmy doesn't have push notifications, would this be bad for battery if enabled?
Not great, not terrible
Sync for Reddit had different time sets, I suppose the implementation will be similar, so you'd be able to adjust it in a way that it isn't fetching the notifications too often.
Looking forward to it! I've only realised just now that I have replies to my comments because I checked my inbox for the first time in 2 months 😅
It would help if there is a notification circle on the inbox icon in the sidebar too? I don't have the bottom bar as another commenter had shared as I prefer to use sidebar only.
