I'm still convinced we'll somehow fuck it, but what start!
Ha, yeah, me too. I was trying to work out what points would guarantee at least second, and I think we need 5 more, but there were too many permutations for my brain to handle last night! Might make a spreadsheet today!
That's going to be tough to define in one number as it depends on which teams the points come against as then the rivals get less points. But I think the chances are decent that Scotland will qualify in September already.
Yeah, it's complex - however I think that the simplest qualification is this:
8 Sept - Spain beat Georgia
8 Sept - Scotland beat Cyprus
12 Sept - Norway and Georgia drawIf that happens I'm 99% sure we are guaranteed at least 2nd spot
