Blender lag with AMDGPU, FreeBSD

I have a 6750XT with drmkmod515 drivers on my FreeBSD 14. The gpu drm is working, as games run fine but Blender, the 3d software, does not. It lags like a mofo. Has anyone had this issue and/or found a solution?

  • The solution is to run blender from the terminal like so vblank_mode=0 blender

    Basically adding the vblank_mode=0 allows Blender to run further than VSYNC allows.
