The drugs and child abuse ones are still accurate.
- And modern Americans are doing their damnedest to make the polio one true again as well.
  
  A solid 30% of Americans are trying their best to bring all of that image back.
- During the 50s, getting divorced was frowned upon. And I was reading about how housewife's frequently were either drugged/intoxicated to deal with their abusive husbands, or plotting to kill them.
