Have we all forgot that Doge wasn’t originally a crypto? It was a meme. The coin is just riding off of that.

such fascism
much crushing authoritarianism
67 0 ReplyIt was fun at one point. When collective efforts through the currency put the Jamaican bobsleigh team into the olympics. A time before we collectively realized how terrible crypto is both for economy and environment.
Now it's just sad.

Oof, sorry you have been so badly brainwashed. I would be angry if I were you.
1 5 ReplyAre you trying to say that cryptocurrency does not have a negative impact?
2 0 ReplyA negative impact on what? The environment? haha. It's just such a retarded argument to try and use it against bitcoin.
Let me guess you got baited by the "Did you know it uses the energy of a small country!"
1 2 ReplySo I assume you have counter arguments? Or do you just hope that laughing at arguments will win you the discussions?
4 0 ReplyYou're going to be shocked to learn that using energy doesn't harm the environment, and Bitcoin doesn't require coal.
And guess what, yes, renewable energy is generally cheaper than fossil fuels.
That means you are incentivized to not only use renewable energy to mine Bitcoin, but to further invest in improving renewable energy sources.

I never understood that either - why destroy any chance at credibility one might've had?
4 0 Replythe coin put the original meme in its shadow at this point. Also it's not that culturally relevant anymore, whole doge kinda still is.
1 0 ReplyI wouldn't call any random scam "culturally relevant".
