Just watched this episode. It was as fun as a Q episode can be. Slightly annoying that the omnipotent beings can come around and NOT whoosh Voyager forward on the journey home.
What, you want is to move you 70kly? Sure. Whooshes them into the beta quadrant, 50kly from home
Why would they? The universe is constantly full of bad things happening that they could change if they wanted. They don't.
