I wish people were using what the DOD says to counter this BS when they defend the necessity of EO/Sharp/insider threat/antiterrorism trainings.
A unit fails to complete its mission if you’re given an order in your unit to put yourself directly in harm’s way and you have to wonder if its to actually complete the mission, or if you’re being told to do it as an act of vengeance for speaking up about sexual assault, or racism, or some other type of divisive behavior in the unit.
These trainings aren’t about “woke indoctrination” or whatever that means. They’re about preserving unit cohesion. Making sure you can trust the people you’re serving with.
