Yesterday I tried to explain wet bulb to my family cause they’re outdoorsy and not used to thinking about dangerously hot conditions.
Did not receive the best response but at least they will recognize the term now.
Most people have no clue and need to be educated on these things. You did the right thing!
I have no clue and would like to be educated on the subject, could you possibly tell me the best place to read up on this is?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wet-bulb_temperature summarizes it quite well. It's basically when your sweat no longer cools you through evaporative cooling.
