Java errors when attempting to log in to Mander on PC

Has anyone else encountered this? I can log in on my phone just fine (browser and Liftoff app). But when I try in Chrome or Firefox on Windows it says things like "Unexpected token O, Origin is... not valid JSON" and "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data".

  • This is a new one for me, and I can't replicate it.

Was this something that happened only over a short period, or it consistently occurs?

    • Yeah it's still doing it a few hours later

        • I've looked through your account to see if I could notice something different than usual about the username format
        • I've created an account using a 128 character password allowing non-ascii characters to see if there might be a bug with a password character
        • I've created a user called TanyTanyChapper to see if something about the username was a problem
        • I have tried to find some error obviously related to your login attempt, but I can't find one

None of these checks returned anything strange. I'm not sure what else I can check. Rate limit problems can cause problems like this, but I don't see how logging in would trigger a rate limit block.

Sorry that you experience this. Have you logged in into a different instance?

Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

        • here's the exception in the debugger, looks like something goes awry when it tries to fetch the date. Wish I was familiar with Javascript so I could help more lol. I can log into sh.itjust.works.

        • It's working now :)

          • Aah, good! I still think about this and I have no idea what happened, so I am happy it works.

    • I just started using this service, will check again later
