Edit: Daughter is only 5 so she's unlikely to play much but she watches me and as long as it's not too violent, it should be fine

Alien Isolation for a 5 year old. What could possibly go wrong.
Maybe just stick to the tutorial area.
Spiritfarer is utterly excellent but also extremely sad (the entire game is a hospice care allegory), so if you go into that one keep in mind that at least one of you will probably be crying your eyes out at some point.
Or, like me, throughout.
Ah crap, now I'm thinking of Alice the hedgehog and crying again.
And the mushroom! He just popped out and is tiny and full of energy and curious and now he's SCARED I never want to play this game ever again

Transistor is just a great game.
Once Hades 2 comes out, that is also an option

From what I remember, Ittle Dew would be great to play with a 5 year old. Some good recommendations there!
