If you're paying for prime just for the games you're doing it wrong
and critically you can get a free trial of prime, claim all the games, then cancel it

What makes you think you can only do it once? As far as I know all they check is a unique email, so you can just create a new account if you want to do it again later.
Because stores typically want your payment methods first, before they let you subscribe or purchase anything, even for "free trials".
According to this article (from 2020) a unique card is not required:

We don't really use credit cards where I live.
Me neither, I think American companies just say "credit card" when they mean any payment card
Yeah but my bank card is still unique and tied to me as a person and my address. I can't really get something anonymous for free like some temporary email provider throwing me a new inbox. We can't even get anonymous prepaid phone SIMs anymore. It's all a contract.
