What do you expect me to do about the one specific person they are pissed off at? Even if they are justifiably pissed off, what exactly do you think it is in my power to do?
I'd assume that the rest of the mods could stop a rogue mod from blatantly abusing their power. But if you can't, nevermind.
First of all, Jordan is in no way a "rogue mod."
Secondly, Ten Forward mods (and mods in other communities that have nothing to with this) can't do anything about News mods. This guy is just taking it out on us because he apparently can't take it out on who he wants to take it out on. And they're reporting a ton of posts.
They reported a fucking meme with Picard holding a gun for fuck's sake. I didn't even know any of this shit was going on until this started.

Okay well that's really not Ten Forward's problem or Lemmy Shitpost's problem. He doesn't mod in either of those. There are admins for a reason. This is just this person childishly annoying people who had nothing to do with it.

There's a lot of options on how to contact the admin right on the front page of lemmy.world. I am guessing that was not tried before this childish "I'm going to flag Picard memes because I'm mad" bullshit.
