Any RPG and/or Strategy games for broad audience?
A friend and I love in depth games but want to include our families, some younger and some not super drawn to scifi or fantasy.
Pandemic has been a great game for us but its nice to have some other options.
Are there any interesting RPG (DnD style) or stategy games that you would suggest?

Designing for Balance
Any boardgame/card game designers here? I'm slowly working on a TCG and wondering about best methods of designing for balance.
Example: In a game like Hearthstone, is there a tried and true starting point for coming up with your base numbers? Like a spreadsheet where everything starts with a value of 1, but then any extra abilities or stats get a standard weight added to them?

Digital Board Games
What do you guys think of digital board game apps? I'm a big fan of the good ones, I've currently been playing a lot of Root and Castles Of Burgundy.
Anyone else? Some people I know are purists and only play on the table, others enjoy being able to play on the go (I fall into the latter camp!)

\##FAQ
I live in Bolivia/Canada/Ecuador/USA, why are you posting on a Saturday?!
Because I'm writing this from Europe in the future where it's already Sunday. Timezones be crazy.
Why are there a bunch of non-board games in the board game list?
Because the Tabletop games category on Kickstarter includes anything remotely related to board games and sometimes things slip through my filters.
Why is this future award winning board game and literal saviour of humanity missing from your list?
Sometimes my filters get a bit overzealous and discard actually valid projects. If you feel something is missing for this reason, leave a comment and I'll add it (maybe).
Can I donate all my money to you?
No
Can you help me promote my game?
Please no. I make lists. Nothing more.
Your list is full of errors and now I keep rolling natural 1s!
Indeed, this fine piece of code runs purely on thoughts and prayers, so anything can happen. Leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.

Cooperative games that are newbie friendly
Hi, i like coop games because I like working together and don't enjoy competitive games.
anyone have any good suggestions?

Does anyone have any recommendations for 2 player games that aren't that competitive? I like to play games with my girlfriend but don't want anything that is going build animosity between us.
