Don't feel bad for the Moderators of Reddit
  • I ended up deleting the reddit app from my phone homescreen and replaced it with Memmy. Once I subbed to a bunch of communities I’m interested in, I barely even notice I’m not on reddit anymore. I just go on, scroll and interact for about 20 minutes, and then I’m done.

I guess If you were used to using reddit for hours a day then it might be hard to find the same amount of content, but then also, maybe reddit is sending you a message to pick up a new hobby. I’ve gotten back into reading, and loving it.

  • Fill level hydrogen tank
  • I’m not really sure, but I don’t think your tank is full, and the 0/total rating is actually accurate.

I remember tanks being weird when I first started using them, and I think maybe you need to set the tanks settings to “stockpile” or something like that, to generate hydrogen constantly, otherwise the h2o2 generator is only breaking the ice when it needs more oxygen (when you lose some by opening doors), and the hydrogen is just wasted somehow.

Unless you have a hydrogen engine onboard somewhere that is on but usually not running because it doesn’t get enough fuel from your h2o2 generator

Again, sorry I can’t help more, been a while since I’ve played and never full got the hang of hydrogen anyway

  • Has Memmy changed its icon? [App Store]
  • The cost of designs like that aren’t necessarily to do with the size of the icon, they’re to do with the expertise and years of practice a designer has to work for to be able to understand how to make an icon that looks professional, legible at a small size, works with the branding of the app/company, doesn’t come too close to other companies icons, and that the user is happy to have on their Home Screen.

It also has to look alright at larger sizes in certain cases.

The planet icon probably didn’t cost $1000, and you can tell and that’s why you’re posting about it.

Unfortunately, the annoying part about designing app icons is that when it’s really good, the user won’t even notice it, because it’s designed to not stand out from your Home Screen and become an eyesore.

It’s a tricky situation 😂 and the reason I did years of design school but never actually ended up becoming a professional

  • Delete Memmy and re-download the app to clean the app
  • Yep, this fixed a lot of issues, and I got to see the new “choose an instance” page what was added a few updates ago, looks great :)

  • Is the profile button still WIP, or does it depend on the instance?
  • I gotchu fam I’ll just send you a screenshot every time you wanna look at your profile.

  • Awesome job, I love the new icon, and congrats on the) (upcoming?) App Store release!

  • Hey! Is there a place with a roadmap/future planned features list for memmy anywhere?
  • I do read the patch notes, just wondering if there was a permanent list anywhere, especially for more long term stuff

  • Hey! Is there a place with a roadmap/future planned features list for memmy anywhere?

I don’t want to keep posting here suggesting features if they’re already in the works!

    That’s all, thanks :)

Feature to make “scroll to top” by touching the top of the screen also scroll back to your last position
  • Just an FYI for anyone who didn’t know, pretty much everything in iOS natively supports scrolling to the top by pressing the top of your screen.

Don’t thing it scrolls back though, so yeah this would be cool

  • So Long, and Thanks for All the Feedback - Minecraft Devs leave Reddit
  • Cool, thanks for the confirmation.

I uploaded the first one using memmy, the iOS Lemmy app.

I uploaded the second one from my instances website, which is Lemmy.zip.

Funny how it’s handled differently, I wonder if the app is doing much background work when uploading an image to imgur for me

  • I think I’ve seen the same thing^ bump

  • How we use TestFlight
  • All good, I feel like a lot of memmy users are coming straight out of Apollo, and while it’s obviously not yet as polished as that app (completely expected considering this one is basically brand new, it’s crazy how good it is already though!) we’re all just glad you’ve given the community a new app to use, and a way to feel more familiar with our new home on lemmy.

Thankyou! And keep up the good work :)

  • New to the game, is it OK if I use a controller?
  • I use kb and mouse for most games on my pc, but for deep rock I actually prefer to plug in my Xbox controller.

Glad I learnt it on controller too, cause now I’m travelling, and I can play it on my phone with Xbox cloud gaming & controller

  • Multireddit analogous list?

As title states, I know lemmy doesn’t support making groups of communities natively like a multireddit, but I wonder if it’s possible to implement this into this app?

Like if I am subscribed to a bunch of gaming communities, and a bunch of future tech communities, can I make a folder for each, and when I click it I get a feed of only the communities about gaming?
