I’m riding a RadCity Stepthru 3, from Rad Power Bikes. It’s more affordable than a lot of the Bosch model bikes, but unfortunately the direct to consumer model does cut out local bike shops, which I’m not super in love with. I’m hoping that as more states roll out ebike rebates, more expensive bikes (like Tern, or even Urban Arrow) can become a more realistic option for people who are on the fence on the idea of switching from a car to a utility or cargo bike. I have put over 1000 miles on it in the last year (would have been a lot more if I didn’t work from home😁), and it’s made me a believer that bikes > cars for sure.
shopping/groceries, picking up food or going out to eat, usps/fedex trips, dropping off/picking up company equipment. Basically, anything I would have used a small city car for, but also for bike rides to just get out of the house for a bit. Bikes really take the worst part of a day and turn it into the best part.
