any danger that comes from nuclear energy is minuscule compared to the danger that comes from fossil fuels, which are proven to be a main factor in climate change and to cause cancer
And just as a bonus, coal power plants emit more radiation than nuclear plants.
Under normal operation that is.
How so? I've never heard that before.
Carbon isotopes and other trace elements in coal that get airborne with the smoke.
The important part is the scale. When you look at exactly how much coal is burned, even a tiny fraction of a percent being radioactive is actually a lot.
