You have so many beds! I can't get past maybe 8 before I start losing folks. Any tips for getting more people? Maybe I'm just too picky. Or too good at shooting.
The south-west base has like 2 people living there so far. I ran out of bedrooms in my first one :) If you have ideology, you can make your rituals have a 50% chance to make a colonist join.
Psychic shock lances are OP when it comes to getting more colonists
Oh really? That's great to know. I read "brain damage" and got scared.
That can happen but in my experience it's not common. The wiki says it's 30% chance but i don't think that's right, I think that's just the chance they are set on fire
I've equipped my melee pawns with them, but the only raid so far has had so many people it didn't seem safe to poke them outside to zap someone. I'll keep trying!
Update: I got one! The enemy broke and ran, but I had staged a physic lance dude at a convenient exit, and he zapped a good one. Easy! Thanks for the tip.
