You missed the part where all the wealthy people moved to the suburbs instead of living near middle class black folks after desegregation, and then literally conspired to ensure that their tax dollars and public services would never benefit any of those uppity Africans and the Baltimore County politics still primarily exist to uphold this racist status quo to this day.
