Yeah, that was my reply to the mods. I had only mentioned an outside entity, no different than the countless twitter, linkedin, gmedd, and drsgme.org posts or comments that encourage outside conversation of GME. The rules 'as stated' only apply to other subreddits.
Thing is, I didn't break the rule. it explicitly states other subs. Lemmy is not Reddit, there is no brigading or mention of another subreddit in my comment.
Would there be a difference between my comment, and perhaps, a comment about a Twitter thread or hashtag? hmm...
Fair point but I don't think there's any point dealing with dickheads. And no matter what good reason we provide, they're never gonna let us advertise for this instance on superstank.
Just want to figure out the best way to get the existence of this group across to the others. I only found out it existed because I added the discord to make sure I could remain in contact with millertime who I suspect they were unfairly targeting. And then someone luckily directed me here.
It was a tenuous and lucky path to be here which reflects why we only have 100 subs.
I might need to individually start messaging people on reddit. Should we do this as a drive? We each msg 10people on reddit?
