screw the bread, this weather is causing an unacceptable amount of hot cross bun spoilage
5 0 ReplyAs a lifelong freezer of bread I do not have this issue 🙂
The other alternative I find works well is to eat the entire loaf of bread in one day. Trialling this method on occasion might be related in some way to an expanding waistline.
5 0 ReplyAll very well for toast, not so great for a fluffy new slice off a loaf.
3 0 ReplyA couple of slices thaws out pretty quickly. Or you could freeze half so you have less out at a time and are able to use it before the mould sets in.
3 0 ReplyI’ve given up on fresh sandwiches, they just sit in the fridge now because of how long it takes me to get through a loaf.
A fresh sandwich is nice though.
