Planning to do this later today. Hopefully it stays working even though I definitely will be using Reddit a lot less than before. Still awesome to see though!

Agreed. As much as I'd like to continue using Apollo, there comes a point in time when you have to acknowledge it's over.
You don't need to be jailbroken. You will have to sideload the app via alt store or sideloady. But I'm running Apollo 1.15.11 with a personal API and no unknown issues at all. Obviously notifications do not work but everything else seems to.
