Initial thoughts? I’m only a few hours in (chapter 4 right now). I did not read any of the pre release material.
This is an entirely new world right? Or does it overlap with known parts of the cosmere?

Pretty sure it's a new world! Not somewhere we've seen before.
What's really intriguing me is the narration - a lot of the comparisons are Rosharan centric. Is the narrator native to Roshar?
I don’t know why I assumed the narrator was Hoid. There’s kind of a jokey nature to parts of it but I don’t think it was ever explicitly stated.
It's 100% Hoid. There's a few lines in Chapter 5 where
SP3 Chapter 5 and Epilogue
the narator is talking about how they did the lightweaving to make Design look human, and how they're frozen in time and used as the coat rack. Hoid unfreezes at the end in the second epilogue before he and Design leave the planet.
